Under universal travel pass online application have to submit to get e pass to travel in trains in Maharashtra.

As we all know coronavirus has made all the works on hold and made suffer everyone in the world and now the government has to take many precautionary measures so that people cannot get affected by viruses and social distancing must be maintained.

To overcome this situation, the Maharashtra government has launched the Universal Travel Pass for the people who travel daily by train so that they can trace them in the future.

In this article, we have shared detailed information on how you can register yourself to get the universal travel pass and can get the pass without any problem.

Maharashtra Universal Travel Pass Online Application 

Universal Travel pass is a web application launched by the Disaster Management team of Maharashtra to authenticate the urgency of travel during the lockdown or restricted time post-lock-down.

Various establishments are categorized based on the nature of business and their staff will be allowed to travel during restricted timelines based on guidelines.

The system generates an e-pass for the staff of registered establishments. This e-pass has a QR code that can be authenticated by Railway / Bus authority.

To start with establishment must register on the system. This is one-time Activity. While registering, every establishment must provide a Single point of contact ( called coordinator) to administer the establishment information.

This person is responsible for correct information and must approve disclaimers for the same.
The establishment will be approved by the Disaster Management authority in the district. On approval, the Coordinator can multiple coordinators for his establishment.

The coordinator can upload the staff details using the excel template provided on-site. After uploading staff information from the excel sheet, staff users will get SMS to log in to the system. Staff members will log in user’s mobile and upload photos to generate pass.

Please note photos can be uploaded one time only. Staff members will save/print images of the e-pass for future reference.

People who are interested to get a universal travel pass will have to first visit the Official Website link is given here i.e epassmsdma.mahait.org.

Here on the home page, you have to click on the Universal Pass for Vaccinated Citizen.

 

Now you will be redirected to the Online Registration Form page. Here you have to enter the details asked and then in the last click on the register button.

Then you will be asked to “Please use the mobile number which is used in Cowin Registration“. Then you will receive an OTP and you can further proceed.

Once you enter the establishment registration number, establishment data will be populated if it is present in our system. In case we do not have data, you will have to enter information in the respective field as shown on next page.

• After the registration process is complete and approved, the establishment can login using the coordinator’s mobile number. On login following page appears

• Download CSV Template to provide staff information. CSV format is as below. Mobile Number and Name are mandatory.
• Establishment to fill up staff information who need travel pass and with Upload Staff Details button, upload CSV file.
• Staff members will get SMS once information is uploaded.

• Then Upload a photo (One time) to generate an e-pass.

• After the Generate e-pass and then print.
