Bh Series Registration 2021 Online

The road transport ministry has launched a new initiative for the welfare of people who uses vehicles and when they to move into new state they have to transfer their vehicle registration number to the other states’ number.

To overcome the issue of vehicles transfer now government will provide a permanent bh series registration mark on the number plates.

With this now there will be hassle free transfer of vehicles will take place and this will save time and money of people.

• Currently the BH series registration number will be allotted to defense personals, employees of Central and state governments, PSUs and private sector companies and organizations, which have their offices in four or more states and UTs.

Vehicles registered with this new series “BH”, which stands for BHARAT will not require now re-registration, when the owners are transferred to a new state.

This facility will be available on voluntary basis to Defence personnel, employees of Central & State Govt; Central & State PSUs; and private sector companies having their offices in 4 or more States/UTs.

BH series registration online mark

The actual bharat series (BH-series) registration mark format is shared below:

Registration Mark Format:-

YY BH #### XX

YY – Year of first registration

BH – Code for Bharat Series

#### – 0000 to 9999 (randomized)

XX – Alphabets (AA to ZZ)

This provision to get a refund from the parent State on pro-rata basis is a very hectic process. The motor vehicle tax will be levied for two years or in multiple of two.

This scheme will allow the free movement of personal vehicles across States/UTs of India upon moving to a new State/UT.

BH series number apply online

Previously a person is allowed to keep the vehicle for not more than 12 months in any state other than the state where the vehicle is registered.

But as per the new BH series registration with the new state registering authority has to be made within the stipulated time of 12 months.

A passenger vehicle used take the following steps to re register a vehicle:

• A no objection certificate from the parents state of assignment of a new registration mark in another state.
• assignment of new registration mark after the row text on pro rata bases is paid in the new state.
• Application for refund of the road tax in the parent state on Pro Rata basis.

BH Bharat series registration price or cost

In the new “BH” series regime, the ministry has fixed the road tax of 8% for vehicles costing up to Rs. 10 lakh, 0% for those costing between Rs 10-20 lakh and 12% for vehicles costing over Rs 20 lakh. There will be 2% extra charge for diesel vehicles and electric vehicles shall be charged 2% less tax.

The exact price for the bh series vehicle number plate registration cost is not yet shared by the department. After the 15th September 2021, the new Central Motor Vehicles (Twentieth Amendment) Rules, 2021, shall come into force and we will get know the exact prices.
