The Biju smart health card scheme 2021 will benefit approx 3.5 crore people of 96 lakh families in Odisha. This is the first initiative taken by any state government to provide smart health cards. BSKY smart health cards will be given to all beneficiaries phase-wise.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has launched the BSKY Smart Health Cards that will be distributed to approximately 96 lakh families in the state. The beneficiaries of National and State Food Security Schemes, Annapurna and Antodaya will get this health card.
Odisha CM made this announcement on the 15th of August 2021 in Bhubaneshwar. Odisha state government‘s initiative will assist people in availing of health services in more than 200 hospital chains in the country. Also, each family can avail of the treatment up to Rs 5 lakh per annum.

Under biju swasthya kalyan yojana this health card will also provide women members a benefit up to Rs 10 lakh annually. This scheme will also benefit the beneficiaries of National and State Food Security Schemes (NFSA), SFSS, Antyodaya, and Annapurna schemes.
