CM BS Yediyurappa has launched the 5000 rupees scheme for many self-employed people both in urban and rural areas.

We all know the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown situation has made many self-employed workers jobless and they are not in a situation to earn money.

So to provide financial assistance for the barbers of the state the government has launched the Karnataka Barber Scheme.

Karnataka Barber Yojana aims to help all the barbers in rural and urban areas, who lost their incomes due to lockdown in the state.

With the one-time financial help of Rs. 5000 they can fulfill their basic needs. In this article, we have shared all the information to get dhobi yojana benefits to the stepwise step below.

Karnataka Barber(Ksarurika) Yojana 2021

The Karnataka state government has declared a Rs 1,610 crore financial relief fund assistance to help the people those who are in trouble due to the COVID-19 lockdown.

As per the data collected by the government, there are more than 60,000 washermen and about 2, 30,000 barbers in the state.

They have lost their income source due to the COVID lockdown. So the state government will give them one-time financial assistance of Rs 5,000 each.

Now the government is launching these relief fund schemes for the people’s welfare by Karnataka 5000 barber scheme.

The barber’s main income is from cutting hairs, shave but due to this locked situation they are not able to earn so the Karnataka government is giving one-time help of Rs.5000.

The CM has shared on his Twitter handle, “Professions like Barbers and Washer men (dhobis) have lost their livelihoods due to lockdown. We have decided to provide one-time compensation of Rs.5,000/- to each which will benefit about 60,000 washermen and about 2,30,000 barbers.”

As barber is taken with many names like Napita, Hajama, Ksaurika in Kannada.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria are very simple which is shared below:

• The driver must have a valid Aadhar Card.
• The shop must be old enough to get the benefit.
• Your shop must be licensed.

Till now the government has not yet released the proper information regarding terms and conditions so you have to wait for the final correct eligibility criteria. This is the assumption given.

Documents Required

The department of Karnataka has made the required document list very common so that no one in this needy situation faces starvation.

• Aadhaar Card Number
• Mobile Number
• Bank Account Number

As the money will be directly transferred to their bank accounts when they apply online for this scheme.

How to Apply Online for Karnataka barber/Washerman Scheme 2021?

This scheme was recently launched to help the barbers and washermen, so now, you can apply and do the online registration form fillup process from the Official Website i.e https://sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in/Sevasindhu/English

The Online Apply procedure will be very easy to access as people can not go to the department offices so the government will make the conditions very simple and you can apply online for this scheme.

At first, you have to visit the Official given portal, then click on the APPLICATION FOR ONE TIME RELIEF FOR BARBERS/WASHERMEN.

Now you have to click on the PROCEED to APPLY.

Karnataka barber 5000 rupees scheme can be done through the beneficiary list launched by the Government Officials. Maybe they give the beneficiaries name list to download and then you have to check your name on the list.

As the government has all the data regarding the shops and dhobi ghats. So maybe they release the yojana beneficiary list to download in pdf. 

But nothing is clear now so we do not have to assume that much, but soon everything will be cleared as the Karnakata government will share all the details.
