WB Kharif Paddy Procurement Scheme 2021 is in the thoughts of the WB state government. Under this wb free rice scheme, the wb government will be giving free rice to people in the state.
The west bengal government is very soon going to launch this scheme for public distribution. The free rice will be procured or taken from the farmers and then this stored rice will be distributed in public.

The wb state government has planned to distribute free rice to the people of the state. CM mamta Banerjee’s government is going to provide free rice to approx. 10 crore people.

Paddy procurement is the storing large amount of paddy/rice at different storage places taken from farmers. After that government will start distributing rice to the people.
The rice will be free of cost for all the people and the quality will be sufficient for a family to have a proper meal.
There will be an unlimited supply of paddy to the PDS shops i.e Public Distribution Shops, and nobody will be left without the rice supply.
The state government has announced to provide MSP (Minimum Support Price) to the farmers so that farmers will get the deserving price of their product.

Under this West Bengal free rice scheme, all people in the state can have the benefit with no payment for rice. The government will distribute rice through PDS shops i.e from the government ration depots.
The West Bengal food corporation department will be securing approx. 45 quintals of paddy from each farmer.
This will allow farmers to have good financial conditions as the government will pay them for their Kharif crops.
In the financial year 2019, the maximum procurement of paddy went up to 90 quintals with an MSP of Rs. 1,868 per quintal.
Now the government has planned on the online portal these details will be uploaded and farmers can do the online registration of the paddy procurements details.

WB Rice Mill Registration Online
If you want to do the rice mill registration, all you have to do is to visit the official portal i.e procurement.wbfood.in
- Here on the homepage, you will see a link stating RICE MILL REGISTRATION, click on it.
- After clicking here you will be redirected to a new page, Here you have to click on the new user registration option as shown in the image below.
- Here enter the details correctly and submit it, after that use your login details, and do the rice mill registration.
WB Free Rice Scheme Registration Online Apply 2021
Under the west bengal free rice scheme, people do not have to apply online or do not have to do the online registration process.
The state government will provide free paddy or rice to the people all over the state. All they have to do is to have the ration card with them.
The free rice will be given to those who have valid ration cards.
The Government has set up Centralised Procurement Centres or CPCs across the State. These CPCs are usually located in the Kishan Mandis of the Blocks or elsewhere.
Paddy is purchased in these centers every day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. except government holidays throughout the year.

Documents required to sell paddy
- Voter Card
- IFSC-linked bank passbook
- Land documents or self-declaration, containing the details and quantum of land
- Two passport-sized photos
A farmer can sell up to a maximum of 45 quintals of paddy only now in one or more installments. Depending upon the demand for sale.
