This fee reimbursement amount would be credited directly into the bank accounts of the mothers instead of that of the students in four installments from the 2022 academic year.
The Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme 2022 will benefit around 14lakh college-going students. The 1st installment of fee reimbursement is deposited into the accounts of the mothers of students as promised and now the second installment process will begin.

Jagananna Vidya Deevena’s scheme is going to benefit thousands of students who are in need. These students will get full fee concession by this government scheme. This Vidya Deevena Scheme 2021 aims to give fee reimbursement in the accounts of their mothers.
Under this scheme, the student’s mothers will receive financial help of Rs 20,000. And 100 % fee reimbursement to students who belong to the SC, ST, BC, Minorities, Kapu, EBC, and differently-abled categories & those pursuing post-matric courses.

The vidya deevena status eligibility criteria is very simple to follow, we have shared all the eligibility criteria below:
- The family’s income must be below Rs 2.5 lakh yearly.
- Applicants can have the wetland below 10 acres/ agricultural land below 25 acres/ or wetland and agricultural land under 25 acres.
- If any family members working in a government job then he is not eligible to apply for this scheme. But sanitation workers are exempted.
- Family members should not have kind of pensions.
- Also, there is no income limit for students hailing from families of sanitation works & those who are professionally dependent on taxis, auto, and tractor.
- If the family member is paying income tax, property tax then he is not eligible.
