The word “Amrit” stands for “Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation,” and “Bharat” signifies the grand ambition to rejuvenate the entire nation.
Under this scheme a total of 1275 Railway stations are set to get upgraded for an enhanced travel experience. Below we have shared the primary objectives of the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.

Currently the scheme has already seen successful in several railway stations across the country. Stations like Habibganj in Bhopal, Gandhinagar in Gujarat, and Nagpur Junction in Maharashtra are some examples.
