Haryana Dog License Registration
The Haryana state government has made the registration of pet dogs mandatory in the state and if anyone found without the dog license will be fined of Rs.5000.
As we all know there is increase in dog bites and many people were complaining to take strict action against the owners. So the state government has decided to impose fine of Rs.5000 and dog registration is compulsory to all the pet owners.
People who want to do the dog registration and get their dog license will have to follow the given steps.
At first you have to visit the Official Website i.e saralharyana.gov.in. Here on the homepage, you have to do the saral registration first.
Here you have to click on the Register Here, and then you will be redirected to a new page, here you have to fill the online registration form correctly.
Once you do the registration then only you can login and apply for the dog registration. This Application for registration of dog under section 311 of Haryana Municipal Corporation Act, 1994 (Service) is must required now.

For the dog license registration you need to first register on the saral portal and then you have can fill the online application form.
The application form will cost Approx. Rs.100 to Rs.200 and this fees as per latest Notification issued by the concerned Municipal Corporation.

Identity Proof of Applicant – any one (Mandatory):
- Aadhaar Card
- Passport
- Election Commission ID Card
- Driving License
- Ration Card with Photo
- Photo ID Card (of State / Central Government, Public Sector Undertakings)
- Address Card with Photo issued by Dept. Of Posts h. CGHS / ECHS Card i. Smart Card issued by CSD, Defence / Parliament j. Caste / Domicile Certificate with Photo
- Kisan Passbook with Photo l. Passbook with Photo of Post Office / any Scheduled Bank
- Photo of dog (Optional)
- Rabies Inoculation Certificate from Veterinary doctor (Mandatory)
- Certificate of having performed sterilization from Veterinary doctor (Optional)

- Clearance Certificate from municipality
The state government is also planning to introduce a provision for imprisonment for violations of rules as if now on people with no pet license will be found.

As per the new rules, owner will be allowed to keep only one dog. Furthermore, the owners will have to put a mask on the dog’s mouth so that it will not be able to bite or attack anybody.
