Kerala state electricity board has launched a scheme in which the electricity board is distributing the led filament bulbs to the public.
This filament free Kerala is the mission run by the government, in which they replace all ordinary & fluorescent light bulbs with new LED bulbs.

The Kerala State Electricity Board is now distributing led bulbs to the people in the state at cheap rates. This is the filament free Kerala mission which is launched by the government of Kerala.
As we all know the bulbs other than led like CFL etc, consume more electricity and this will cost more. So to overcome this now the government is giving led bulbs at cheaper rates to the people.
With these bulbs, there will be less consumption of power and these bulbs are energy efficient.
With this Filament free Kerala Mission now old tube lights, CFL bulbs, or any other filament bulbs will be eliminated.
Now in the future people will be given only LED bulbs to use at home, offices, schools, colleges, etc.

People who are interested to apply online for the led bulbs then have to first visit the official website i.e wss.kseb.in.
Here on the kseb web portal, you will see a link stating Apply Now, click on that.
After clicking that you will be redirected to a new User Login page, Here you will see a link stating New User Registration, click on that.
Now on the Register New User page, you have to enter your consumer details, login details, user details correctly.
In the end, click on the register button, and your registration is done.
The government’s aim is to cover all the population in the state so that they save some power and the environment is also not much affected.
