Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has said in their budget that they are going to launch the Saheli Samanvay Kendra Scheme for the welfare of women in Delhi. The Saheli Samanvay yojana 2021 will launch approx. 500 anganwadi hubs.
These anganbadi kendra will be used to give training to the women so that they can learn and new things and use them to start their own work and earn their livelihood by using this training.

The “Saheli Samanvay Kendra” will be opened to empower women so that they can also earn by getting professional training in the centres run by the Delhi government. Under this new scheme, 500 Anganwadi hubs will be set up to initiate the start-ups and to promote self-help groups.
This step is taken as we have all seen during COVID-19 all the families have suffered financially and now Delhi government aims women should be empowered so that they can also earn and run their homes.

The government will make special arrangements in the hubs for required training. With proper setup, micro-economic units can be opened and regular meetings of self-help groups can be held in these centres.
As per the survey taken by the government, it is calculated that before the pandemic, unemployment rate among women was 26 percent in February last year and now it rose to 40% in February 2021.

Anganwadi Hubs shall be used by women of nearby areas for 4 hours everyday morning and there they can learn to setup micro-economic units and meeting to learn and earn.
The Delhi government led by Arvind Kejriwal has set aside ₹4,750 crores for the Department of Social Welfare, women and Child Development, and welfare of SC/ST/OBC.
This is a huge amount for the welfare of these categories. As per the reports, 40% women in delhi are unable to find jobs or any work.
Out of these 45% of women have passed 12th class and are below 30years old, so this initiative will be good for them to learn and earn at nearby places.
