The shakti smart card is the free bus travel pass for women of Karnataka and transgenders are also included under this scheme. The Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah has launched this scheme stating this will be a movement of women empowerment.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shiva Kumar launched the free travel scheme for women in state-run buses. Under this Shakti Yojana all the resident women of Karnataka can travel free in the buses using shakti smart card.
Now the women and transgenders who want to apply online for this card will have to follow the given steps.
At first you have to visit the official website i.e sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in/Sevasindhu/English. Here you have to do the registration if you are first time user. And if you have already an account on seva sindhu portal then do login.
Now we are proceeding with the new user registration, after you click there you will be redirected to a new page, here you have to enter the details like aadhar number, captcha and then click on the next button.
Now proceed to the next section and submit your registration form, once you finish it then your registration is done.
Now login and go to your dashboard and look for the shakti smart card apply online 2023. Now fill the application form correctly and submit it.
Once you have submitted all your details you can download your smart card in pdf and then take the print and use it.

seva sindhu portal shakti smart card apply online key highlights
This Shakti scheme applies only to the ordinary state-run bus services of Karnataka.
Buses like Airavat, Airavat Club Class, Airavat Gold Class, Ambari, Ambari Dream Class, Ambari Utsav, Fly Bus, Vayu Vajra, Vajra, Non-AC Sleeper, Rajahamsa and EV Power Plus AC buses are excluded under the scheme.
