WB Karmo Bhumi Web Portal
Under this scheme, on the first day now a total of 300 approx. people have done the registrations and more than 6000 visits are available on the website.
As per government registered data, there are around 700 IT and ITeS companies at Salt Lake Sector V and Rajarhat. And at present around 2.5 lakh, people work in these companies.
IT/ITeS sector has promoted the move as it will help many professions in the state itself. With it, IT professionals can also get a better opportunity to work in Bengal state itself.
An IT professional has to enter the portal of the IT department and there they have to enter their details. After that, they can connect with the IT companies in West Bengal.
