AP YSR Pedalandariki Illu Housing Scheme 2020-21
Andhra Pradesh YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy government has launched this most important and people welfare scheme last year i.e in 2019. But due to land issues and COVID-19 the launch of this scheme gets extended, and now finally on the 25th December, 2020 AP government is finally launching this scheme.
The AP government will give the documents for free house sites, which will be distributed to beneficiaries of ysr pedalandariki illu scheme.
The documents will only be provided in the litigation-free areas that means there will be no issue regarding the land or property of the beneficiaries.
Under YSR Housing scheme, housing sites will be allocated by providing the necessary documents.

It is estimated that approximately 3,38,144 houses to be built under this scheme. Now the housing department has received a lot of applications so the government has planned to built houses in two phases.
Phase 1 and Phase 2, in these phases work, is divided and now on the 25th December phase 1 will start.
Ysr housing scheme phase 1 and phase 2 details
The AP High court has given the instructions to the CM Jagan Mohan to identify and complete the land site issues.
- The phase will start from 25th December and there will be the construction of 15.1 lakh houses will start in the first phase.
- The shortlisted or identified houses will be monitored by a new method i.e geo-tagging the location method.
- Under this scheme, each house will cost about 1.8 lakh and these houses will be provided free of cost to the eligible people.
- The AP ysr government has estimated the completion of phase 1 will be in 2022 and then after phase 2 works will start.
The AP state government has aimed to built approx. 13 lakh houses by 2023.

The state government has taken all the eligible beneficiaries’ applications and shortlisted them for the final allotment of free housing.
The government has not made any official declaration of the beneficiary list so that people can check their names in the beneficiary list.
