The PM Modi announced the scheme during his Independence Day address from the Red Fort on August 15, 2023 and a budget of Rs.13,000 crore for five years is estimated.
The main objective of this scheme is to improve the quality and reach of the products and services of artisans and craftspeople so that they can continue their traditional works and teach others also.
