Indian Citizenship Online Portal is now implemented in India and migrants from other countries will be given Indian citizenship. From official portal link people have to register themselves on CAA portal online so that they can get the Indian citizenship certificate from the government.
The online application process for CAA citizenship registration will start very soon. The notification of the rules is set to open the ways for the migrants from neighboring countries to find citizenship in India. The ministry of home affairs also informed that the applications will be submitted in online mode.
The Indian citizenship will be given to migrants from Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan who belong to Hindu, Sikh, Jain, Parsi, Buddhist, and Christian communities and had entered India on or before December 31, 2014.

CAA is Citizenship Amendment Act which allows migrants from other countries to get a citizenship in India those who belongs to Hindu, Sikh, Jain, Parsi, Buddhist, and Christian communities. Muslim community is not included in this citizenship bill.

Refugees who do not have any documents can get the citizenship now, for that they have to register online on the official portal. The indiancitizenshiponline.nic.in official portal will take all the necessary information required to provide Indian citizenship.
A spokesperson for the Home Ministry said that, eligible individuals could submit applications in by online mode. And no other documentation is required from the applicants.
People who want to register themselves and want to submit their online application will have to visit the official website. Now the official web portal is released by the government and you can fill the online registration form.
List of Documents Required
The caa documents required is must know thing for any migrant.
- Copy of the passport issued by the Government of Afghanistan or Bangladesh or Pakistan
- Registration Certificate or Residential Permit issued by the Foreigners Regional Registration Officer (FRRO) or Foreigners Registration Officer (FRO) in India Birth certificate issued by a Government authority in Afghanistan or Bangladesh or Pakistan.
- School certificate or Educational certificate issued by the School or College or Board or University authorities in Afghanistan, Bangladesh or Pakistan
- Identity Document of any kind issued by Government of Afghanistan or Bangladesh or Pakistan or any other Government authorities or Government agencies in these countries
- Any License or Certificate issued by a Government authority of Afghanistan, Bangladesh or Pakistan
- Land or tenancy records in Afghanistan or Bangladesh or Pakistan
- Any document that shows that either of the parents or grandparents or great grandparents of the applicant is or had been a citizen of one of the three countries, i.e. Afghanistan or Bangladesh or Pakistan
- Any other document issued by a Government authority or a Government agency in Afghanistan or Bangladesh or Pakistan which will establish that the applicants from Afghanistan or Bangladesh or Pakistan.

CAA Online Application
The online application process is made simple for CAA. All you need is to visit the official website once it is launched then fill the application form as per the information is asked and apply online for CAA.
You have to enter your basic details like your name, address, mobile number, bank account number, pan card details, passport size photograph, etc.

After filling the online application form you have to submit it and your registration is done. Now you can login on the portal and can check your application status online. The department will verify your credentials and then you will be given the citizenship certificate.

Currently there is no such official portal is launched by Indian government, so for now there is no such login facility available. But as expected the portal was in developing stage and very soon it will reach for the public use.
