Farmers in Tamil Nadu were waiting for this loan waiver scheme for many days. The government has promised that they will wave off the crop loans due to two cyclones in the state.

Tamilnadu Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami has announced that farm loans availed from cooperative institutions or banks. The government has estimated that an approximately Rs. 12,110.74 crore will be waived off and a total of 16,43,347 farmers will take the benefit of this scheme.
The loans which are taken before 31st January 2021 from the cooperative banks will be waived off. This step is taken by the government to give compensation to the farmers for their crops which were destroyed during cyclones in the state.
Now on the farmers will continue their works without any tension of repaying loans as the government will transfer loan amounts into the cooperative bank accounts.

TN crop loan waiver beneficiary list 2021 is available for the people as Tamil Nadu government has waived the crop loans and now people are looking for their names in the beneficiary list.
