AP Jagananna Vidya Kanuka Kit Scheme 2020-21| YSR Vidya Kanuka Scheme Beneficiary List: Andhra Pradesh CM YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy has launched the Vidya Kanuka School Kits Scheme.
Under this scheme, a school kit comprising of 3 uniforms, shoes, a school bag, books, belt, socks, and other stationery will be given to the beneficiaries.
AP state government has launched this scheme to uplift the school children’s standards by providing them basic accessories regarding school.
As we all know it is very difficult for poor families to make these basic arrangements in this costly time. By this Vidya Kanuka Kits scheme, relief will be given to the poor families.
YSR Vidya Kanuka Scheme Beneficiary List
Under this scheme, the total cost to purchase Jagananna Vidya Kanuka Kits is calculated at approx Rs. 655.60 crore. The school-going students will be provided with uniforms, books, belts, shoes, and socks.
The AP government has planned to launch this scheme on 3rd August as they have decided to reopen the schools after COVID-19 lockdown.

The beneficiaries list will be shortlisted by the government officials. The school children from class 1st to class 10th will be provided with these school kits. The basic needy things will be given in these bags for the students.
In the Andhra Pradesh state, there are approx. 36,10,000 students and each student will be given this kit worth Rs.1,350.

Eligibility Criteria
The Andhra Pradesh Education Department has given the eligibility criteria for applicants seeking online application of this scheme. We have shared the list of eligibility criteria below.
- A permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh can apply for this scheme.
- Students who study in government schools are eligible to get this scheme’s benefit.
- Students who go regularly in school are eligible for this scheme.
- Students from first-class to tenth class will be able to get the educational kit provided by the government.

If you are interested to get free kits from the government. Then you need the following documents such as:
- School certificate
- School Id card
- Aadhar card
- Passport size photo
- Aadhar card of parents
