This initiative is under digital India, where direct scholarship money is transferred to their bank accounts without any leakages. NSP 2.0 allows registration to students in different scholarship schemes.

This is a very simple process for the Student Registration and Application Submission. And this workflow states how your registration process will work. Step by step your application will be forwarded systematically.

• Firstly your application verification will be done at Institute Level.
• Then the verification of Application at District/State/Ministry Level.
• Then after, beneficiary Records Creation & Account Validation by PFMS (Public Financial Management System).
• Now the application’s deduplication and the merit list generation will be done.
• After this successful list generation, the payment file generation and financial approval will be done.
• In the last Scholarship Disbursement through DBT (Direct Bank Transfer).

Eligibility Criteria:

• Domicile State/UT – Resident Proof (Aadhaar Card)
• Course Level – Educational Qualification.
• Religion
• Caste/Community Category
• Gender
• Parent Annual Income

Documents Required:

For the NSP registration form process, common documents are required which are given below:

• Aadhaar Card
• Bank Account Number and IFSC code of the bank branch.
• Caste Certificate
• Mobile Number
• Previous Educational certificates.
• Income certificate.
• Handicapped certificate if you belong to this category.

These are the main key things that are required to get the National scholarship. Now you know what documents and eligibility are required, the next step is to get registered for NSP.

How can you apply for National Scholarship Registration? 

To get the NSP Scholarship 2022 you have to first visit the NSP Scholarship Portal If you are a new student and want to register then, on the home page of National Scholarship Portal i.e scholarships.gov.in you will find New Registration Option. You have to click on it, as given below.

Now on the next page of registration form guidelines for the National Scholarship Portal are given. You have to read and choose the conditions they have asked, as given below.

After choosing or tick marks on the given above terms and conditions you will go to the Fresh New Registration Form page.

On this national Scholarship portal registration form, you have to fill the required details. As State of domicile, Scholarship category, etc. 

In the scholarship, category Select Pre -Matric for class 1-10 and Select Post Matric/MCM/TOP CLASS for Class 11, 12, UG, PG, etc. Fill all the details correctly and click on the Register Button.

On Clicking “Register”, you will get a unique application number and password as SMS in the registered mobile number. Click on Continue to continue login for Application.

Now have your Application ID, then you have to do National Scholarship Portal(NSP) Login.

What is the process NSP Login?

For the NSP Login, you have to visit the Login to Apply section on the Homepage for NSP Login 2021.

Here on the NSP scholarship login page, you have to enter the Application Id and Password that you received on your mobile number.

After the successful NSP login, an OTP is sent to your mobile number. Then after entering the OTP, you will be redirected to the Password RESET Page where you can change your password.

NSP Student Login Process

Once the NSP student Login changes the password, then they will be redirected to the Applicant’s Dashboard page where they can fill the application form.

This application form is divided into three parts:

1. Registration Details
2. Academic Details
3. Basic Details

Here you have to fill all the details correctly and then, in the end, submit the NSP Scholarship form. The verification process will take place on their own and you do not have to worry about anything if you have filled the form correctly.

You can also edit the application form on the national scholarship portal before submitting it to the final stage. After the final submission, you have to check your application status.

How do I check my NSP Scholarship Status?

NSP Status can be check by Logging in again. After the login in your dashboard, you will see a “Check Your Status” section. You have to click on that and then you can check your NSP Status 2022.

You can check your NSP status regularly to get the latest update of your application status. National Scholarship status is regularly updated on each stage of the application so that you can easily NSP track status.

Note: If any Institution wants to get enrolled to provide these scholarship schemes to the students then, they must be registered in the National Scholarship Portal.

How to add Institute & School in NSP?

First, you have to visit the website Search for Institute/ School/ ITI. Then 

Enter the details like Institution State, Institution District, Institute / School /College/ITI Name. Then click on the “Get  Institution list” option.

Then in front of you, all the institutes, school-related data results will appear on the national scholarship portal.

At first, you have to visit the National Scholarship Portal. Then you have click on the Institute Login as given below. It can school login, institute login.

Now you will have to go to the NSP institute login page. Here you have to fill the login details and click on Login.

What is the NSP Renewal Process?

The procedure for NSP renewal is very simple all you have to do is to visit the National Scholarship Portal Renewal Page and then enter the NSP Student login details and click on the submit button. Your NSP Renewal application will be there for you on NSP Portal.

Note:

•  In case of completion of course, you can not apply for renewal on NSP Portal.
•  Students eligible for renewal are advised not to apply in fresh category as duplicate applications will be rejected by NSP. In you want to apply for Fresh, withdraw your Renewal Application from NSP.

NSP Last date

National Scholarship’s last date varies from different scholarships. If you want to know the last date of the NSP scholarship. Then you have to visit the Homepage of NSP 2.0.

Here you have to click on the desired scholarship scheme as given below:

Central schemes, UGC schemes, and State schemes are differentiated so click on the desired tab and below will be the list of the Schemes with the scholarship’s last date.

You can get state wise list of NSP schemes with the last date mentioned in front of the scheme on the NSP portal.
